I’m very sorry to learn of Lew’s passing. We were classmates at Rockhurst High School and graduated together in 1959. I moved away from Missouri in 1964, but was able to re-connect with Lew at Rock reunions. He was a good man, and as his obituary reveals, he was generous with his free time. My condolences, thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

I’m truly saddened to hear of Lewis’ death. Prayers and blessings to his family with the hopes that memories will lift you up. About 1 1/2 years ago, Lewis and I connected on Ancestry.com. Lewis and my mother were cousins here in Kansas City. It was truly a blessing to have someone I could communicate with regarding our family history as my mother and father are no longer with me. Lewis’ insight into family connections was extremely helpful and filled in gaps for which I had no knowledge. I will miss his kind e-mails, and insights. Rest in Peace Louis, you will be missed.
Lou was a good and loyal friend St. Francis Rockhurst and beyond. Our condolences to Evelyn and family.
