Lois Bernice Meyer, 92, of Holts Summit, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at StoneBridge Senior Living-Adams Street Place. 

She was born on February 14, 1932, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Ralph and Dolly (Hills) Perry.

Lois was united in marriage to James Frank Meyer on July 5, 2004, in Jefferson City, who survives at the home. She was married for over fifty years to Stanley Earl Burris, Sr. who preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker.

Lois was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church,

Lois had an artistic flare and used her talent to paint, do ceramics quilting, and do all types of needlework including crocheting. She loved music and enjoyed singing. Her family benefited from her love of cooking and gardening.

Survivors include two children, Laura Burris, Holts Summit; and Stanley Burris, California; a granddaughter, Carolyn Medina; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother Alan (Alice) Perry, Jefferson City.

Lois was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce; and brothers, Ronald Perry, David Perry, Jay Perry, and Howard Perry.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 5, 2024, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Nolan Wynn officiating.

Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
