Louise Sophie Hentges, 89, of St. Martins, died Wednesday, December 22, 2004, in Jefferson City. She was born on January 11, 1915 in Jefferson City, the daughter of William and Cornelia DeLong Schepker. She was married on October 12, 1937 in St. Martins to Paul William Hentges who died on January 17, 1991. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2004, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, 3210 N. Ten Mile Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109 (573/893-5251), with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Community Hospices of America, 1005 Northeast Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109; American Diabetes Association, POB 1013, Columbia, MO 65205; or a charity of the donors choice. A homemaker, Mrs. Hentges was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church; St. Martin Quilters Circle; and the Legion of Mary. Survivors include four sons and their wives, Fred and Frances Hentges, Sibley, MO; James and Gladys Hentges, Centertown; David and Corliss Hentges, Centertown; and Eugene and Karen Hentges, Jefferson City; two daughters and their husbands, Patricia and Dewayne Bonine, Jefferson City; and Marilyn and Roger Schmidt, Jefferson City; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jacob Schepker, St. Louis; and LeRoy Schepker, St. Peters, MO; and one sister, Helen Just, St. Clair, MO. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brenda Sherman; a grandson, Eric Hentges; five brothers, Lester, Walter, Jim, Bill, and Ben Schepker; and two sisters, Dorothy Dulle and Rosaline Garger.
