Lucy Ann Hudspeth, 72, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at St. Marys Health Center after a battle with cancer. Mrs. Hudspeth received her education at St. Francis Xavier School in Taos. She was a licensed In-home Day Care Provider for thirty years until retiring in 2000. She was not only a loving mother and grandmother to her own children and grandchildren, but to the numerous day care children she nurtured and influenced over the years. Many of them remain close today. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she sang in the church choir, participated in the prayer line, and was a Eucharistic Minister.
