Madeline Evelyn Madge Hoffman, 84, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006, at St. Marys Health Center, Jefferson City. She was born on Dec. 6, 1921, in Slickville, PA, the daughter of A.J. and Helen Dolores Parlock Harris. She was married on July 14, 1947 in Wilkinsburg, PA, to William Henry Hoffman, Sr. who survives at the home. She received her education from St. Thomas Grade School in Bradock, PA, and graduated from Wilkinsburg High School, Wilkinsburg, PA in 1939. Mrs. Hoffman worked four years for Mine Safety Company, Wilkinsburg, PA. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Jefferson City. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bill H. Hoffman, Jr., Santa Cruz, CA; and Richard D. and Sue Hoffman, Lucas, TX; two grandchildren, Taylor Hoffman and Alex Hoffman, both of Lucas, TX; one brother, Richard Harris, Forrest Hills, PA; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Hoffman, McKeesport, PA; and Jane Hoffman, New Kensington, PA; and one brother-in-law, John Hoffman, Bradenton, FL. She was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Harris, who died in action during the Korean Conflict. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Marys Health Center Foundation, Oncology Fund, 100 St. Marys Medical Plaza, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
