Marie Mathilda Patterson, 84, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 1, 1920 in Jefferson City, the daughter of John and Helen Bemboom Vieth. She was married on Aug. 30, 1940 in St. Louis, MO to William Horstdaniel who died on Aug. 22, 1978. She was married on April 3, 1993 in Jefferson City to John W. Patterson who died on July 22, 2000. Mrs. Patterson was employed with Oberman Manufacturing Company, Tweedie Shoe Company, and the former Chesebrough-Ponds Inc. She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral. Survivors include one sister, Margaret Sparr, Jefferson City; one sister-in-law, Helen Vieth, Jefferson City; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Vieth; and one sister, Dorothy Stock. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005, at St. Joseph Cathedral with the Rev. Robert A. Kurwicki officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 9th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, 3210 N.
