Marion I. Jean Harvey, 83, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on Dec. 26, 1925, in St. Louis, the daughter of Roy Ellis and Gladys Mary Cox Bage. She was united in marriage on Sept. 12, 1945, in Paducah, Ky., to William Everett Harvey who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker all her life and attended the Friday Morning Breakfast Club. Jean was an avid artist and enjoyed reading. Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Stephen Harvey, Eugene; Michael and Linda J. Harvey, Jefferson City; Scott and Karen Harvey, Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Linda L. Harvey; and her sister, Mary Krah. Private family services will be held in St. Louis at a later date.
