My mama was a wonderful kind woman – she had me at an early age in her life- we were two of a kind – she taught me how to live and care for others – how to cook and be a good mom myself- we didn’t always agree – but that never lasted- she had a smile that could light up the room – she’ll still be my guardian, but with a special set of wings .. Mama I hope you get to dance across the Milky Way & see joe and Zach- all my love always!! Your daughter!!
I worked with Margie at Dillard’s one summer and then later with Ginger doing hair. Our paths seemed to cross over time and I last saw her at the Truman Building when I was on break one day I heard my name and it was Margie telling me she saw me on TV talking about Drug Court and how my daughter Molly had graduated. Molly and Zach had gone to school together and I remember when Ginger lost him and Molly and I went to his funeral. Now we have lost Molly too and Ginger and I share our loss with each other via FB and I am truly sorry for your loss of your mother and know I am praying for you as you work through the days ahead. Love you lady!
I moved to Jefferson City from Arkansas in 1980 and that’s when I met Margie due to meeting her daughter Ginger. She was such a young mom and so much fun. As Ginger and I became adults, Margie would even go out with us as one of the girls. We always had so much fun and laughed and enjoyed each other’s company. I always said that her and Ginger were twins just a few years apart. Then Jessica came along and is a carbon copy of Margie. Margie made a beautiful daughter and granddaughter. She was a lovely lady and will be greatly missed.
Ginger and I were Hair stylists together and I later worked with Margie at Dillard’s for a few years. She was a lot fun of just like Ginger. She joined us going out and we had a lot of laughs. Margie, Ginger and Jess are all beautiful women inside and out. It has been such a pleasure knowing you all. She will be missed! Prayers of Gods peace and comfort for all of you in this time of mourning.
