MARK ALAN BRAUNER

Mark Alan Brauner, 46, of Centertown, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, at his residence. He was born on Jan. 26, 1960 in Jefferson City, the son of Walter Henry and Loretta Ann Distler Brauner who survive in California, MO. He was married on April 27, 1991 in St. Martins to Pamela Ann Schepers who survives at the home. Mr. Brauner was employed for nine years as a Corrections Officer with the Missouri Department of Corrections. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and a volunteer at St. Martin Catholic School. Other survivors include two brothers and their wives, Darrell and Pam Brauner, Holts Summit; and Stan and Pam Brauner, California; three sisters and their husbands, Sally and Sam Hager, St. Martins; Lori and Kari Monsees, Warrensburg; and Donna and David Anderson, Overland Park, KS; his grandmother, Rose Kirkweg, Jefferson City; three sisters-in-law and their husbands, Jan and Clark Grumke, Bridgeton, MO; Carla and Glenn Luebbert, Jefferson City; and Christie and Chris Murray, Harrisburg, MO; one brother-in-law and his wife, Edwin and Donna Schepers, California, MO; eighteen nieces and nephews; and two aunts and two uncles. He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Brauner; his grandfather, Clarence Brauner; and grandparents, Mathias and Mary Distler. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Mark Alan Brauner Memorial Fund.
