  7. Sue, when we talked earlier, I said “there just aren’t any words”….but there are words, they are just very hard to get out right now. There are no two other people on earth that Judy and I have had more fun with and have made more unforgettable memories with than you and Marty. It goes way back to when you were sweeping off your porch at your home place and I decided to explore the “city of Westphalia” by myself, and you knew that may not be such a great idea… and helped ease my mom’s worries with a phone call… which had to be about 45 years ago. then the bowling team and fire fighters BB-Q’s our families shared and then our “Lost Valley” days camping with the kids, the fireworks, the disc golf, and swimmingMarty was able to make every minute crazy fun, & educational (in his own special way ) I told Brianna how Marty treated her so special every time he came around her when she was a baby / toddler before your wonderful group of grandchildren came along and she was touched by that, and I will never forget that about him. Our butchering and hottub days at your house, and next comes our hunting trips, our years at the Ranch, and our Meta cabin… you have no idea what special memories we all have of Marty during those 30 years of absolute fun and brotherhood. Marty was always so proud of you and his kids (for good reason). Everything he did for his town, his country, and most of all,his family and friends, make him a hero to many many people. I’ll say it again, We love you guys with all our hearts and can’t Thank You enough for all the wonderful memories, and want to keep building on them as our grandchildren come along and grow. May God Bless and comfort you and your family in this time of sorrow, every time I sat in Marty’s stand this deer season, I prayed a rossary just for that comfort if the worse was to happen. again, there are words…. I just hope these help a little. Mark.
