Rich and family. I am so glad to get to know your mother. I always knew her to carry herself with dignity and class. My best memory of her is early morning deer hunting on her farm with Rich and Rich asking me not to shoot as she walked her dogs through our line of fire.
Rich, Rob & Christine, I was so saddened to learn of your Mom’s death. She was my friend and we worked together (cafeteria & counseling) for many years at JCHS. We all benefited from her culinary skills! I got married in 1986 and your Mom made my wedding dress! It was beautifully made and exactly what I wanted. It still hangs in my closet and I think of Mom every time I see it – and will continue to do so. I also still use the mini-ice cream scoop that she gave me. It makes perfectly round cookies and they all bake the same. She was definitely a food scientist! And… I remember buying some tasty peaches from you! Both my parents are gone, too, so I understand the hurt. My heart goes out to you and your family. I’m so grateful to have known your Mom! Sending love your way.
