She was born in Jefferson City to Joseph Leuthen and Elizabeth Cortvrient Leuthen. She was married on November 17, 1938 in Jefferson City to Leroy Charles Hentges who survives at the home. Other survivors include four sons, William J. Hentges, Sumter, South Carolina; Robert H. Hentges, Jefferson Ctiy; Richard P. Hentges, Holts Summit; and Thomas L. Hentges, Edmond, Oklahoma; three daughters, Marguerite E. Rinaldi, Sloan, Iowa; Frances A. Schulte, Jefferson City; and Helen M. Drinkard, California; twenty-five grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John C. Hentges; and a grandson, Charles H. Hentges. A homemaker, she was employed for ten years with Von Hoffman Press. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; St. Ann's Sodality; and St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, or a charity of the donor's choice. She was a 1936 graduate of St. Peter High School.
