Mary Margaret Meyer, 97, of Jefferson City passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Heisinger Bluffs.
She was born May 2, 1921, in Jefferson City, the daughter of John Grant and Alma Agnes (Koecher) Phelps.
She was united in marriage in Jefferson City, on January 29, 1946, to Louis John Meyer who preceded her in death on January 16, 2000.
Mary was a 1939 graduate of St. Peter High School in Jefferson City.
She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Jim (Lisa) Meyer, Holts Summit; John Meyer, Jefferson City; three daughters, Kathy (Tom) Boyer; Sue (Larry) Nilges; Diane (Bob) Roling all of Jefferson City; seven grandchildren, Megan Boyer, John (Johanna) Boyer, Stephanie (Christopher) Steele, Christopher Nilges, Adam Roling, Taylor (Christina) Roling, Logan Roling; and four great-grandchildren, Walt Boyer, Harrison Steele, Samuel Steele and Carter Roling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Louis, and an infant sister, Elizabeth Jean Phelps.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Louis M. Nelen officiating.
Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
