Mary Sue Moyers, 78, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at St. Joseph Bluffs.
She was born on August 3, 1940, in Walcott, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Amon and Ruth Bell Clemens Hunt.
She was married on June 12, 1960, in Walcott to Marion Louie Moyers who survives at the home.
Mrs. Moyers was a 1958 graduate of Greene County Technical High School in Paragould, Arkansas, and received a certificate from Brooks Bible College in St. Louis.
A homemaker, she was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and loved Gospel music. In previous years she enjoyed golf, cooking, reading, and fishing.
Other survivors include two children, Fonda (Lauren Mecker) Moyers, Roselle, Illinois; and Nathan Jeremiah Moyers, Jefferson City.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlene Yvonne Moyers.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Whitney officiating.
Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery in Marquand, Missouri.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City.
