Marylou Lydia Bryant

Marylou Lydia Bryant, 90, of Lohman, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Heisinger Bluffs – West surrounded by her family.
She was born September 12, 1933, in Summers Point, New Jersey, the daughter of Frederick Lewis and Marie Henryetta (Oesterman) Schneider. She attended school in Pleasantville, New Jersey.
She was united in marriage on February 27, 1953, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Pleasantville, New Jersey to Robert Lee Bryant, Sr. who survives.
Marylou worked as a clerk and bookkeeper for various companies including Nabisco Baking Company, Canada Dry Company, and Sears all in the New Jersey area. She later worked for Lohman Producers Exchange in Lohman. For many years, Marylou was a stay-at-home mom where she was the cook, chauffer, babysitter of grandchildren, and a caring and loving role model.
She was a founding member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where she participated in Women’s Missionary Union, Adult Sunday School, Mission Projects Team, Grow Outreach Program, Church Council, taught Sunday School and Bible School, and helped with the Shower committee for many years. Faith was an important part of Marylou’s life.
Marylou enjoyed crocheting, listening to music, and reading. She always looked forward to cooking for Holiday meals and Sunday dinners. Her family was always first.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Bryant, Lohman; six children, Linda (Jerry) Dooling, Lohman; Dianna (Stan) Payne, Lohman; Bob (Brandy) Bryant, Lohman; Daniel (Neva) Bryant, Russellville; Renee (Jim) Baxter, Greenwood, MO; Amy (Rodney) Gipe, Jefferson City; 21 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Ed and Raymond Huber.
Private family services will be held at Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City with Dr. Brian Credille officiating. Burial will follow at Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Bryant Family, I was saddened to hear about MaryLou. It has been awhile since I have seen any of the family, but I remember the time at Russellville Baptist Church. My prayers go out to every one of the family.
