Mathilda Catherine Toots Schwartze, 92, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at St. Joseph Home for the Aged. She was born on Nov. 12, 1912 in Jefferson City, the daughter of Henry J, Sr., and Helena Dulle Schwartze. She received her education at Visitation Catholic School in Vienna, MO. Miss Schwartze was employed for thirty-two years with International Shoe Company and later with McGraw-Edison, both in Jefferson City, until her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a sixty-year member of Daughters of Isabella. She is survived by her immediate family of two nieces, Mary Helen Norfleet, Jefferson City; and Juliana Wieberg and her husband, Daniel, of Jefferson City; and one nephew, the Rev. Monsignor Michael J. Wilbers, Lake Ozark, MO; and one brother, Vincent L. Schwartze, Jefferson City. In addition to the above, she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Wilbers, Celebrant; and the Rev. Msgr. Charles H. Patterson and the Rev. Donald W. Lammers, Concelebrants. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21st, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Parish, 216 Broadway, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
