Maxine Bernice Woehrmann, 86, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at her residence. She was born on Sept. 7, 1920, in Boone County, MO, the daughter of Clyde and Elsie (Sapp) Sapp. She was married on June 21, 1947, in St. Charles, MO, to Henry Benjamin Woehrmann with whom she enjoyed sixty years of marriage. Mrs. Woehrmann was employed as a seamstress with J.C. Penney Company until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing and cooking. Survivors include her husband; one daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Wess Henderson, Jefferson City; four grandchildren, Shellie (Neil) Goodin, Craig, Jennifer, and Ashley Henderson; five great-grandchildren, Johannah, McKensi, and Channing Henderson; and Katie and Drew Goodin; and one sister, Macie Redden, Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Cazzell; and three brothers, Ewing and Bobby Glen Sapp, and Wilson Middleton. Private family services were held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. John W. Hobratschk officiating. Burial was in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
