Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. When I taught Jason in English class, he informed me that his mom was attending college to become an English teacher. Knowing Jason’s dry sense of humor, I thought he was kidding. As I got to know Melody, I became her supervising teacher during her student teaching. When Melody’s college faculty supervisor came to critique her teaching, the supervisor fell asleep in class. The students noticed her sleeping. It was all Melody could do to keep the students from waking her. Melody and I had a hard time not laughing in front of the students. We’ve laughed about this so many times.

  2. So sorry for the family’s loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this awful time. The Jeoffroy Family

  3. My sympathy to the family. I knew Melody from writing project activities and kept up through Facebook. She was creative and talented. She never failed to make me laugh and her writing was delightful. Dear God, eternal rest grant unto Melody and let Your perpetual light shine upon her. Juanita Willingham, Mexico, MO

  4. Mel was a great childhood friend. I have so many great memories growing up on “O” Avenue…riding bikes, picking berries, Susie the cat, listening to music, watching The Man From Uncle and Dark Shadows together and sharing our thoughts and dreams. I will miss her dearly…until we meet again my dear friend
