MILDRED CECILIA UTRECHT

October 28, 1919 ~ November 3, 2012
She was born on October 28, 1919, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late John Bernard and Josephine (Lackamp) Schroer.
She was united in marriage on February 20, 1946, in St. Martins, to Fred William Utrecht who preceded her in death on December 14, 2001.
A homemaker, Mrs. Utrecht was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church, Ladies Sodality, and the Quilting Circle.
She lived a life of faith for her God and her family.
Survivors include: six children, Mary (Charles) Brown, Ashland; Rita (Jerry) Kauffman, Lohman; Linda (Herb) Huhman, Jefferson City; Janet (Steve) Rademan, Centertown; Bill (Mary) Utrecht, Centertown; Jim (Cheryl) Utrecht, Centertown; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Loretta Schroer, St. Martins.
She was also preceded in death by two great-grandsons, Noah and Sam Mays; two sisters, Mary Brondel and Sr. Joseph Bernard Schroer; and a brother, Joseph Schroer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Noon Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating.
Burial will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the church with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 11 a.m. till Noon Wednesday at the church.
