Mildred Wilhelmina Forck, 87, of Taos died Friday, July 3, 2009 at St. Mary’s Health Center. She was born on March 23, 1922, in Taos, the daughter of Henry G. and Rosie Brand Lauf. She attended Liberty School and St. Francis Xavier Catholic School. She was united in marriage on November 8, 1969, in Taos, to Herbert Frank Forck who preceded her in death on January 20, 1999. Mrs. Forck was a housekeeper for Jefferson City families for several years. She also worked for Oberman’s Manufacturing. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church; St. Ann’s Sodality; and St. Ann’s Sewing Circle. Survivors include: one sister, Marie Wekenborg, Taos; one niece, Frances Wekenborg, Taos; two nephews, Richard (Susan) Wekenborg, Taos; Roger (Dinah) Hagner, Jefferson City; one great-niece; and four great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Alfred Hagner, and one brother-in-law, Eugene Wekenborg. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with the Rev. Wayne M. Boyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be Tuesday 9-10 a.m. at the church.
