Norman Dean Martin, 87, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, at his residence.

He was born January 30, 1937, in Jefferson City, the son of Neal and Mae (Meng) Martin.

He was united in marriage on August 18, 1962, in Rich Fountain to Leona Elizabeth Raab who survives at the home.

Norman worked for over 31 years for the City of Jefferson City with the Sewage Department and later with the Street Department.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Norman enjoyed competing in Tractor Pulls and working outside on the farm and in the yard.

Survivors include his wife, Leona Martin, Jefferson City; one son, Kevin (Patti) Martin, Jefferson City; one grandchild, Sam (Jamie) Martin; and several step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Bobbie (Catherine) Martin; Harry (Margaret) Martin; and Linville Martin.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Matthew Flatley officiating.  Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
