Oliver Joseph Ollie Chambers, 65, of Holts Summit, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 15, 1940 in Quincy, IL, the son of Ralph Vincent and Helen Irene Patrick Chambers. He was married on Oct. 22, 1959 in Quincy, IL to Jeanette Sisk Baker. He was later married on May 8, 1987 in Jefferson City to Cleo Etta Hicks who survives at the home. A 1958 graduate of LaBelle (MO) High School, Mr. Chambers was employed in the automobile industry for many years serving with the Carroll-Rehma Motors and Mike Kehoe agencies. He was currently a salesman with Capital City Chrysler-Nissan where he had been employed since 1987. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958-1961. He was a member of First Christian Church, LaBelle; and the Marine Corps League Central Missouri Detachment. Other survivors include one son, Jeffery Dean Chambers, Quincy, IL; one daughter and son-in-law, Robin Lynn and Paul Yates, Mesa, AZ; two step-daughters, Donna Albert, Jefferson City; and Darla Snook and her husband, Rick, Jefferson City; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and three sisters and their husbands, Virginia and Ken Timm, Sequim, WA; Mary and Dan McCarty, Kirksville, MO; and Pat and Jim Mulenix, Lewistown, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and one step-grandson, Morgun Varner. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at Coder Funeral Chapel, LaBelle, MO, with a one hour visitation preceding. Burial with military honors will be in LaBelle Cemetery. Local visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at Dulle Trimble Funeral Home.
