Orlean Nelda Rockelman

She was born February 21, 1920, in Cole County, the daughter of the late Henry A. and Amelia L. (Kautsch) Kirchner.
She was united in marriage on July 11, 1954, at St. Johns Lutheran Church at Stringtown to Oscar Fred Rockelman who preceded her in death on March 3, 2008.
A loving homemaker, Orlean had worked for Tweedie Shoe Factory in her younger years.
Following Oscar’s employment with Caterpillar in East Peoria, Illinois, Oscar and Orlean returned to the Lohman area in 1986.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, cooking for her family, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dale Dusheke of Lohman; two grandchildren, Emilie Crawford and husband Jimmy and Dana Dusheke and her significant other Brian Crawford; and five great grandchildren, Richard, Ashlie, Marissa, Briana, and Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Rockelman; sister, Aleta (Thomas) Mueller; and brother, Ruben (Alice) Kirchner.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville with Pastor Ed Merckel officiating.
Interment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville is in charge of the arrangements.
