Pamela Ann Bax, 73, of Centertown, passed away March 13, 2016, in Imperial, California while being cared for by her daughter. She was born August 22, 1942, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harvey and Gladys (Ber) Lemke. She was united in marriage on July 14, 1962, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Marvin A. Bax who preceded her in death. Pam worked for Chesebrough Ponds and retired after 25 years. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. Pam enjoyed cooking, reading, collecting cook books, fishing, camping at the Lake of the Ozarks, traveling, and spending her winters in Mission, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Bax, Imperial, CA; her father, Harvey Lemke, Appleton, Wis.; and her companion for the last 17 years, James Perrey. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Mark Lemke. Mass of Christian Burial will be Noon Monday, April 25, 2016, at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins with the Rev. Edwin Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon will be served following the services in the church basement.
