Born in: Jenkins, Missouri
Resided in: Jefferson City, Missouri

Patsy Louise “Pat” Cramer, 90, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Heisinger Bluffs Senior Living Community surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 9, 1934, in Jenkins, Missouri, the daughter of Everett Porter and Oda Alice (Stanphill) Scott.

A 1952 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Pat received an Associate Art Degree in 1954 from Jefferson City Junior College.

While working at the MFA Insurance office in Columbia she met her future husband who just happened to be her boss, Richard Ralph “Dick” Cramer.  They fell in love on their first date and were married on March 18, 1955, at the First Baptist Church in Jefferson City.  He preceded her in death on November 27, 1997.  They shared forty-three happy years together.

Pat and Dick co-owned Cramer’s Decorating Shoppe and Furniture Gallery in Jefferson City.  Pat retired after twenty-three years on February 29, 2000.  Because they made home decorating calls, many of their customers became lifelong friends.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Irwin Sunday School Class, various committees and a book study all at the church.

Pat taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and was a school mentor at Southwest, South, and Lawson Grade Schools.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, and landscaping, and loved to decorate homes.  In earlier years, she loved to travel with her family and especially enjoyed historical places as well as amusement parks and zoos.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (Lynn) Graves; and Lisa (Brant) Anthony, all of Jefferson City; four granddaughters, Jennifer (Rich) Bearden, Lindsay Graves (Russ Bell), Brooke (Cole) Hooten, and Jenna (Coby) Keyes; nine great-grandchildren, Lanie Bearden, Kayleigh Bearden, Brody Bearden, Jack Bell, Truman Bell, Jase Hooten, Barrett Hooten, Carter Hooten, and Lizzie Keyes; and two sisters, Norma Hebel, Quincy; and Doris Brown, Independence.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Dick, a sister and her husband, Darlene and Clay Gregory; two brothers-in-law, Henry Hebel and Tom Brown; and two nephews, Terry Gregory and Randy Hebel.

Visitation will be 12-2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Trimble Funeral Homes, Jefferson City.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Remembering our beloved Aunt Pat. I will forever remember her as beautiful, fun, laughing, stylish, appreciating beautiful things, gardening, and loving her family so well. We will miss you so much Aunt Pat, but we know you are in Heaven with all of our family and your friends who have gone before you, living eternally with Jesus.

  2. Pat sold many items to remodeling of our home. She was very kind and helpful and her smiles were always appreciated. May she rest peacefully with the saints in heaven. Prayers for the family.

  3. May the Almighy One great you, Mrs. Cramer, with open arms and may you enjoy finding your loved ones in Heaven, so happy to see you.
May God support your family here on Earth, as they find His support with their grief and loneliness without you.
    Prayers for all

  4. I enjoyed knowing you while Cindy and I were in high school. You always beautiful, stylish, and taught me much. I always felt welcome in your home… especially the sleepovers❣️

  5. Please accept our condolences. Dick and Pat were our next door neighbors on Tanner Bridge Road many years ago. They were both always very friendly and neighborly.

  6. I am so blessed to have gotten the chance to Know Pat. I work at Heisinger Bluffs where she had lived. She was incredibly sweet! I often bring My Children to Heisinger to visit and do activities with the residents. Pat was very dear to My Children. They would always have to visit her! As always she was greeting them with a smile and a big old hug! My children loved surprising her with a nice warm Cinnamon Roll! (Which she would never turn down!) ❤️
My Youngest was also so thrilled to have Pat as a Birthday Buddy as they shared the same Birthday (November 9th)!
She will be missed. May all those who knew her hold her smile, laugh, and special memories in our hearts until we meet again. We love you Pat!
