Paula Sue Haake Kahn of Ft. Worth, TX, formerly of Jefferson City, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, in Ft. Worth, TX. She was born on April 27, 1958, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Robert George and Mary Dolores Nienheuser Haake who survive in Jefferson City. She was married on June 26, 1982, in Jefferson City to Robert Kahn who survives at the home. She was a 1976 graduate of Helias High School and received a bachelors degree from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. Paula was a floral designer for Kroger Grocery Store No. 536 in Ft. Worth and was loved by her co-workers and customers. She was a volunteer with both the Boy and Girls Scouts, receiving her twenty-five year Girl Scout pin. She was recognized as the Girl Scout Leader of the Year in 1994 and received the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year award in 1996. She was a ten-year volunteer with Longhorn Council, Boy Scouts of America. Survivors include: one daughter, Jessica Marie Kahn, of Ft. Worth; one son, Aaron Kahn and his fiance, Amber DeSpain, both of Ft. Worth; one sister, Lynne Peirick and husband Marvin of Jefferson City; one brother, Carl Haake and wife Terri of Jefferson City; and three nephews, Cameron Haake, Bryce Haake, and Zachary Haake. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Aug, 17, 2006, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 2413 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109; Heart of Missouri Girl Scout Council, 230 Metro Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109; or Vogelweid Learning Center, 314 W.
