Ralph Lewis Roesger, 63, of Jefferson City, died Monday, September 8, 2008, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on July 23, 1945, in Jefferson City, the son of Ernest R. and Mildred Muriel Bryan Roesger. His father survives in Osage City. He was united in marriage on June 19, 1975, in Jefferson City to Carla Marie Weider. Ralph worked as a maintenance mechanic for ABB for over thirty years. He was a member of Central United Church Of Christ. Ralph enjoyed racing, baseball, and other sports. His greatest passion was his five grandchildren. Other survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, John E. Roesger, Jefferson City; James V. and Lanette Gooch, Jefferson City; one daughter, Lauri L. Ashlock, Jefferson City; five grandchildren, Elizabeth; Hailey; Caleb; Sam; Abby; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Joy Roesger, Jefferson City; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2008, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen H. Buchholz officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Ralph Roesger Grandchildrens Educational Fund.
