Randy Dale Davenport, 56, of Jefferson City, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on September 26, 1951, in Salem, MO to Bernie Ula and Vera Maxine Sawyer Davenport. He was united in marriage on January 5, 1974, in St. Louis to Ellen Christine Ryan who survives at the home. He was a project manager with Kidwell Construction for twenty-two years. Randy enjoyed golfing, exercising, and traveling. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. Other survivors include: one daughter, Sara Davenport, Jefferson City; one son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Heather Davenport, Jefferson City; two grandchildren, Cole Davenport; Ailey Smith; three sisters and their husbands, Glenda and Palmer Pellham, Kennett, MO; Debbie and Mike Humm, Murphysboro, IL; Patricia and Warren Norris, Licking, MO; and one brother and his wife, Garry and Anna Davenport, High Ridge, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be 6 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Hicks officiating.
