Raymond Henry Hagenhoff, 94, of Westphalia, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at Westphalia Retirement Center. He was born on July 8, 1913, in Meta, Mo., the son of Liborius and Margaret Bax Hagenhoff. He was married on Feb. 17, 1946, in Westphalia to Elizabeth G. Mertensmeyer who died on May 11, 1993. Mr. Hagenhoff was employed as a poultry tester with Maries Valley Hatchery for twenty-five years, and with Play-Mor Trailers for thirteen years until retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia; was an avid bowler; played many musical instruments; and was a member of a local band many years ago. He enjoyed sporting events, gardening, and visiting with neighbors. But he especially enjoyed raising chickens. Survivors include one sister, Ida Massman, Meta, Mo.; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Antone and Lorene Hagenhoff, Largo, Fla.; and Florentine Hagenhoff, Meta, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by seven brothers. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, with the Rev. Msgr. Gregory L. Higley officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Westphalia. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church, P.O.
