Regina Elizabeth Mertensmeyer, 88, of Westphalia, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at Westphalia Retirement Center. She was born on Nov. 22, 1917 in Westphalia, the daughter of Liborius and Anna Heckman Mertensmeyer. A homemaker, Miss Mertensmeyer was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, and received her education at St. Joseph Catholic School. Survivors include one brother-in-law. Raymond Hagenhoff, Westphalia. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Elizabeth Hagenhoff; and two brothers, Frank Mertensmeyer and Herbert Mertensmeyer. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
