She was born in Koeltztown to John Reinsch and Catherine Luebbert Reinsch. She was married on October 24, 1933 in Koeltztown to William Gerhard Heckman who died February 11, 1999. Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Brune, Meta; Catherine Smith,Koeltztown; and Beatrice Heckman, Jefferson City; a son, William L. Heckman, Koeltztown; 24 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernice Heckman; and a son, Winlfred P. Heckman. A homemaker, she retired in 1978 from the Missouri Department of Revenue. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koeltztown; St. Ann Sodality; and the Quilting Circle.
