Robert Alan “Bobby” Donehue, 48, of Jefferson City, died Friday, September 4, 2009, at St. Mary’s Health Center. He was born on August 25, 1961, in Jefferson City, the son of Robert Urban and Gloria Ann Rose Remick Donehue. Bobby worked for the Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson City. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Bobby was an avid fan of the Mizzou Tigers. Survivors include: one sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Ken Porting, Jefferson City; one brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Tina Donehue, Jefferson City; two nieces; three nephews; and a host of friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 7, 2009, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. George Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. In honor of Bobby’s passion for sports, the family suggests that all attendees to the visitation and funeral wear sports apparel of their favorite team.
