Bob was one of the most outstanding people I ever worked with, and a good word for everyone. One-of-a-kind guy.
Mr. Maher was such a kind man, a true gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor and decency. I always enjoyed hanging out at the Maher home as a teen-ager. My heart aches for Mrs. Maher, Anne Justine and all of this sweet family as you cope with the loss of such an amazing husband, father and grandfather.
Remember: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” — Revelation 4:21
Until then, I will be praying for you all.
Love, Chantelle

Bob was one of those people who was a joy to work with. He always had kind words to say and always a joke or two. I sincerely enjoyed the time I spent with him at the transportation department. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

My friendship with Bob is one of my best memories from my days at the Highway Department (as the department was then called). Bob was among the nicest people I have ever met. Barb and I are so happy we stopped by last fall to visit Bob and Anne, but we are sad that we won’t have another opportunity to visit with Bob.
Ann and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We were so sorry to learn of your loss of Bob. May his memory be eternal.
Dearest Anne
I was so sorry to pick up the paper this morning and read of Bob’s death. I will pray for you and the family, and Bob. It hurts so much to lose the person who has been with you so long. Trust in God and live each day at a time. It will be tough but it can be done as Gods will.
