Robert Kenneth Kenny Logan, 85, of Jefferson City, MO died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 22, 1919 in Jefferson City, the son of Benjamin Harrison and Eula Oliver Logan. He was married in 1942 in Fulton, MO to Freddie Mae Galbreath who preceded him in death in 1987. He was married on Aug. 31, 1996 in Kansas City, MO to Annie I. Wilson Needem who survives at the home. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Jefferson City. He attended Washington Elementary School, Lincoln University High School, and Lincoln University. His lifes work, which he learned at an early age from his father, was the art of repairing shoes which he practiced for over seventy years. He owned and operated Logans Shoe Repair at locations on Lafayette Street and Dunklin Street, and later was employed with Pohls Shoe Store and Gilmores Saddlery. He was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees and sang in the Male Chorus. He was Past Worshipful Master and a forty year member of Capital City Lodge No. 9, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons Prince Hall Affiliation, and was a member of Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite Prince Hall Affiliation. Other survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Joyce and Donald Webb, Jefferson City; and Sheila Logan, Jefferson City; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Kenneth, Jr. and Ruth-Anne Logan, Seaford, VA; one step-daughter, Zalene Smalls, Jefferson City; three step-sons and their wives, John and Edwina Graham, Kansas City, MO; Irving and Mamye Graham, Kansas City, MO; and Clifford and Sonyia Graham, Spring, TX; three grandchildren, Dawn Webb Crockett and her husband, Martin, of Jefferson City; Robert Anthony Logan, Bowie, MD; and Michael Webb, McLean, VA; six step-grandchildren, Eric Sharpe and Marcus Sharpe, both of Jefferson City; John Graham, Kansas City, MO; Andrew Graham and Victoria Graham, both of Spring, TX; and Irvin Graham, Jr., Kansas City, MO; three great-grandchildren, Brittany Crockett, Sydney Crockett, and Anthony Logan; and two brothers, Herbert C. Logan, Jefferson City; and Harrison O. Logan, St. Louis. He also leaves brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Leon Dixon Logan; and one sister, Colette Gordon. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Cornell C. Sudduth, Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.
