Robert Leo Wolken, 75, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born October 21, 1942, in Bonnets Mill, Missouri, the son of the late Anton Herman and Margaret Catherine (Forck) Wolken. He was united in marriage on July 13, 1963 in Osage Bend, Missouri to Rita Mathilda Margaret Schulte who resides at the home. A farmer all his life, he worked for over thirty years as a journeyman case maker book binder for Von Hoffmann Press. He was a member of St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church in Osage Bend. He took great pride in his farm and worked long hours making it look beautiful. He enjoyed fixing anything that was broken for his family; watching the Cardinals on TV; playing cards and going to the boat to gamble. Other survivors include his children, Sheila (Kenneth) Thomas, Taos; Kevin (Janet) Wolken, Osage Bend; Donald (Rebecca) Wolken, Osage Bend; Glenn (Becky) Wolken, Russellville; Michael Wolken, Osage Bend; Sandra (David) Jones, Osage Bend; Karen (Christopher) Parker, Loose Creek; and Amy (Jason) Bruemmer, Wardsville; one brother, Harold (Darlene) Wolken, Osage Bend; three sisters, Janet (Alfred) Koetting, Osage Bend; Linda Limbach, Marys Home; and Marilyn Daledovich, Osage Bend; one sister-in-law, Delphine Wolken, Taos; twenty grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; and 4 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Wayne Wolken, a brother, David Wolken, and brother-in-law, Bill Limback. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church in Osage Bend with the Rev. I.C. Medina officiating. Burial will be in St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church, 12025 Rt. W., Jefferson City, MO 65101; or to the American Cancer Association, 2409 Hyde Park Rd., Jefferson City, MO 65109. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
