Robert U. Donehue, 67, of Jefferson City, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at Jefferson City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Dec. 14, 1937 in Linn, MO, the son of Peter Francis and Anna Agnes Nilges Donehue. He was married on Oct. 17, 1959 in Jefferson City to Gloria Ann Rose Remick who died on May 25, 2001. Mr. Donehue was a member of the first graduating class of Helias High School in 1957. He retired in 2000 after thirty-five devoted years with Modern Litho-Print Company, Jefferson City. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; Helias Knights of Columbus Council 1054; Holy Name Society; and Alcoholics Anonymous. An avid St. Louis Cardinal fan, Bob enjoyed gardening and baby-sitting his grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Julie Ann and Kenneth Porting, Jefferson City; two sons, Robert A. Donehue and Troy Remick Donehue, both of Jefferson City; four grandchildren, James Porting; Bart Porting; Jessica Porting; and Gregory Porting; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Lincoln Donehue, Enid, OK; Donald and Patrice Donehue, Jefferson City; and Richard D. Donehue, Jefferson City; two sisters, Eula Schepers, and Dorothy Vogel, both of Jefferson City; and nine brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carol and Fuzzy LePage, Minnesota; Sally and Jerry Heislen, Jefferson City; John and Ellen Remick, St. Joseph, MO; Colleen Mutsy and Ben Ike Cederburg, Jefferson City; and Juanita Donehue, Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel Donehue; A.C. Pete Donehue; and Patrick Donehue; one sister, Jeannette Luetkemeyer; three brothers-in-law, Leslie Vogel; Victor Luetkemeyer; and Norbert Schepers; and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Donehue. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 2932 Mohawk, Jefferson City, MO 65101; or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 E.
