Roberta Evelyn Strange Kelsay, 81, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, at her residence. She was born on June 18, 1925 in Jefferson City, the daughter of Clarence Wesley and Cora Ellen Cotten Strange. She was married on Aug. 5, 1942 in Tuscumbia, MO, to Leland Delbert Kelsay, who died on Oct. 1, 1996. A homemaker, Mrs. Kelsay was a member of Hopewell Union Church in Barnett. She loved her family above all else and worked tirelessly raising her children and enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her handcrafted pillows, dolls, teddy bears, and stuffed animals were cherished by all family members. Survivors include six daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon and Kenneth Hartman, Irving, TX; Janice Kelsay, Jefferson City; Joyce and Russell Boudria, Jefferson City; Beverly Kelsay, Jefferson City; Lisa Mahaney, Jefferson City; and Valerie Kelsay, Jefferson City; one son, Brent Kelsay, Warrensburg, MO; nine grandchildren, Brian Hartman, Jennifer Troy, Jeannie Nelson, Jordan Mahaney, Ashley Boudria, Samantha Boudria, Megan Moore, Kaitlin Moore, and Trevor Kelsay; seven great-grandchildren, Kelsay Nelson, Victoria Nelson, Chance Nelson, Alexandria Hartman, Nickolas Hartman, Kennedy Troy, and Jake Troy; one sister, Dean Gover, Trimble, MO; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Norris, Long Beach, CA; and Lois and Lank McBroom, Latham, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Tyler James Nelson; three brothers; and five sisters. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Harry S.
