Ronald Cordell Frazier, 64, of New York City, formerly of Moberly, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 10, 1939 in Marceline, MO, the son of Cavella Clarence and Ruby Virginia Thompson Frazier. His Mother and step-father, Virginia and Donald Marshall, survive in Jefferson City. Other survivors include his son, Christopher Ridgeway Frazier, New York City. He was married in 1961 in Washington, D.C., to Janet Rowe Johnson who died in 1997. He was later married to Andrea Akers who preceded him in death. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, MO. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, POB 1653, Topeka, KS 66601-1653. He was a graduate of Macon (MO) High School; received a Bachelor of Arts degree Summa Cum Laude from Westminster College, Fulton, MO; and received a Master of Arts degree in History and Drama from Carnegie-Mellon University. He was an actor in stage, screen, and television for many years, appearing in over twenty films with major film stars including Brubaker with Robert Redford and Fat Man and Little Boy with Paul Newman. He played the judge on the recurring television series Law and Order was in the comedic sit-com Mad About You and played many seasons with the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity; Screen Actors Guild; Equity; AFTRA; and taught at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
