Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Rose was a beautiful, kind lady and I am so glad I got to know her. I had been helping her clean her house and then was helping her clean it out after she moved to Oak Tree. I will miss her and our talks very much but I know that God has welcomed her home with loving, accepting arms and taken away all her pain. My prayers go out to her two lovely daughters and the rest of her family, losing a loved one is always such a hard thing to go through and it can only be made a little easier with God’s help and much reminiscing about her! And if you believe, we will all surely see her again some day! Sending Much love and prayers—-Dallas

  2. So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. You will remember the little things, her laugh, her stories, and her smile. The memories help push away he pain. Your family is in my prayers.

  3. So very sorry for your loss. Please know your family is in my prayers. May you all remember the very best memories of this lovely lady and celebrate her life.

  4. Debbie I am so sorry. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember her playing Hand and Foot. Love to all of you

  5. Rose was a beautiful and knowledgable lady who told many interesting stories of her life and travels. I got to know her as a member of the sewing group and enjoyed listening to those many stories! She was quite a lady!! She will be missed.

  6. Rose was a great neighbor, always willing to help. Always had a treat for Lacey. Lacey will miss sitting on Rose’s lap while swinging. By the stories she told you knew she enjoyed life. We were very fortunate to visit with Rose and Jim on Monday. She is missed. Margie, Gary and Lacey

  7. The people who have only known Rose and Jim Kirby for a couple decades may not know what a great and positive impact they had on me and many other young sailors. Rose and Jim were the mom and dad we left behind when we “joined up” at age 17. With Jim it was always another opportunity, never another chance. With Miss Rose it was always an open heart, a mother’s love and undersanding. They had a marriage that we admired and wanted to emulate. Bless you Miss Rose and Mister Jim. I do so love you two so very deeply. Blue skies, fair winds and following seas…….I apologize if i’ve mispelled something, the tears got in the way.
