Ruth Florence Kuster, 84, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, August 22, 2009. She was born on January 25, 1925, in Bonnots Mill, MO the daughter of Rhey and Ellen Emile Bret Vogel. She was united in marriage on September 6, 1947, in Bonnots Mill, to Harold Francis Kuster who survives at the home. A homemaker all her life, Mrs. Kuster also had worked for the State of Missouri. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Betty Kuster, Columbia; one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Steve Schneider, Jefferson City; three grandchildren, David Kuster, Winter Park, Fla.; Robert Kuster, Columbia, MO; Susanne Porter, Wilmington, NC; two step-grandchildren, Monica Miller, Liberty, MO; Jeff Schneider, Billings, Mont.; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Rhey “Tiny” Vogel, Higginsville, MO; and two sisters-in-law, Arbell Vogel and Dorothy Vogel, both of Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Scotty Kuster; four sisters, Rita Vogel, Mary Ellen Hoerschgen, Leoba Kramer, Eunice Forck; and seven brothers, Theodore Vogel, Leslie Vogel, Julius Vogel, Eugene Vogel, Herbert Vogel, Earl Vogel, and Harry Vogel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. George Kramer officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be Noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
