Ruth Virginia Miller, 82, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 3, 1921, in Linn, the daughter of William Edwin and Bessie Hiner Turner. She was married on February 8, 1958, in Jefferson City to William Glenn Miller who died on February 18, 1974. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Turner; and a sister, Reta Dudley. She was immediately followed in death by a brother, Robert Turner. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerrol L. Boehmer officiating. Burial will be in Linn Memorial Park Cemetery, Linn. A homemaker, Mrs. Miller was a teacher at Simonsen School and later as a TWA Airlines hostess in Kansas City and California. She also worked for Lockheed Aircraft Corporation in the accounting department. Mrs. Miller was a member of First United Methodist Church, Jefferson City, and a charter member of the Osage County Historical Society. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Becky Miller, Jefferson City; one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Dave Hand, Overland Park, Kansas; five grandchildren, Will Miller, Stephanie Davenport, Jackie Hand, Emily Hand, and Victoria Hand; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Bob Rudnick, Plymouth, Michigan; one brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Tonie Turner, Columbia; and a caregiver, Sheri Wintermeyer, Jefferson City.
