Sarah Alice Shoults, 85, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 25, 1921 in Brumley, MO, the daughter of Richard E. and Ethel Jefferies Shivers. She was married on Dec. 22, 1947 in Jefferson City to Nelson Joseph Shoults who died on Jan. 19, 1963. A homemaker, Mrs. Shoults had been employed through the years with Sunlight Laundry, St. George Laundry, Fashion Cleaners, and Oberman Pants Co. She was a member of Hickory Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Linda (Kenneth) Hartley, St. Martins; Betty (Jerry) Hartley, Jefferson City; Anna (Tony Imberi) Fair, Jefferson City; and Brenda (Steve Coffelt) Clements, Holts Summit; one son, Nelson (Dee) Shoults, Russellville; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond E. Shivers, Kansas City, MO; one step-daughter, Billie Robinson, Russellville; and her step-mother, Marie Shivers, Cameron, MO. She was preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen Ferrell; two granddaughters, Jackie Muse and Monica Nikkie Muse; one grandson, Raymond Hartley; one great-grandson, Brett Duby; and one step-daughter, Sandra Cundiff. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Hess officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donors choice.
