Sherman Lee Clark, 83, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away January 31, 2025.
Sherman was born on September 27, 1941, in Jamesport, Missouri to Colonel and Margorie (Dixon) Clark.
He graduated from Jamesport High School in 1959.
He was married to Wilma (Odell) Ham and had two children, Jeff Clark and Lori (Clark) Caton. He was later married to Shirley Troeger.
He had several jobs including driving for Rainbow Bread, selling insurance, owning a video store, and working for the Missouri Lottery before retiring.
He enjoyed spending time with his family in both Missouri and Arizona. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending his last chapter of life with his best dog Cooper. Everyone who knew him knows he was feisty and always fun to be around.
He is survived by two children Jeff Clark of Columbia, and Lori Caton (Jason) of Columbia, a sister, Donna Jackson (Gail) of Mesa, Arizona, four grandchildren, Jeni Smith (Todd) of St. Louis, Lindsey Mathis of Columbia, Taylor Mathis of Columbia, and Delaney Caton of Columbia. He had four wonderful great-grandchildren, Corbin Smith, Rosalyn Smith, Tyson Mathis and Landon Mathis, and several nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Barry Lane Clark, and a niece, Pam Evans.
