Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Shelley and family I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Sam. I really liked Sam, I worked for Sam for many years at McDonnell Douglas and later Boeing. Sam was a great mentor and friend. Sam was a straight shooter and told it like it was. I called Sam last year before I retired to tell him I was retiring (his only comment was it was about time and laughed like Sam does)! Sam was my second boss I had at McDonnell Douglas. He was a super smart guy and did great things. I know you will all miss him dearly. God bless you and your family in these times but remember Sam is in a great place today. He will be missed.

  2. Didn,t get to know you well, but just enough to know you were a great guy. Rest in piece my friend

  3. To Shelley and Andrew and Matthew and Mark and extended family our sincerest condolences.
Sam was (is) one of my dearest friends from high school. He and his cousin Dan even traipsed out to Oyster Bay, New York to attend our wedding. Angela and I were so thrilled and honored. Later, after he and Shelley were married, they made the trip to New York to visit us – what a really good friend.
We were also good friends with his mom and dad and have great stories from our visits to his parents farm. It should be noted that his family let us (Helias’ Senior Boys) use their farm to have our Senior Class picnic. So many “growing-up’ adventures and stories with Sam that can’t be recounted here, but can be recalled to refresh our memories of him.
Sam has been a close friend all our lives even though we lived a half a country apart. Although we did not communicate frequently, each encounter seemed as though we were continuing a conversation from just yesterday. Lately, we had reconnected in late fall 2023 and were intending to catch up over 2024. I will miss that opportunity tremendously.
Sam was (is) one of the nicest, kindest, most optimistic people I know,. While I will miss his presence, I will not let his spirit and good heart ever leave.
Shelley and Andrew and Matt and Mark, we send you all our sympathy; and know that Sam remains spiritually a part of you all your lives.
    God bless you

  4. Sam was my favorite uncle. He was always there for me when Jake Posenecker bullied me. Love you Uncle Sam!
