She was born in Westphalia, MO to Ferdinand and Gertrude Hoer Hotermann. She was married on April 7, 1937 in Westphalia, MO to Ernest Leo Stiefermann who died on July 29, 1994. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Ann G. Bexten, Westphalia; and Dolores A. Andra, Atchison, Kansas; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. An infant daughter, Viola Stiefermann, preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, and the Ladies Sodality.
