Thomas Francis “Tom” Graessle, 86, of Taos, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Westphalia Hills.

He was born July 7, 1932, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Louis and Catherine (Bode) Graessle.

Tom served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was united in marriage on July 1, 1961, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Taos, to Agnes Johanna Kerperin who survives at the home.

Tom and his wife Agnes owned and operated Graessle Sales and Service, a refrigeration company. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and various refrigeration organizations.

Tom loved spending time hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors. He enjoyed watching baseball and football, and any chance he had to visit with his family, friends, and his customers.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Agnes Graessle, Taos; three children, LeAnn Graessle, Taos; Richard Graessle, Jefferson City; Eileen (Oscar) Reeves, Jefferson City; two grandchildren, Kelsey Reeves and Dalton Reeves; and two sisters, Mary Jo (Urban) Brandt, Jefferson City; and Helen Odendahl, St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Zackary and Joshua Reeves; two sisters, Virginia Carel and Ann Falter; and five brothers, Paul, Donald, Phil, John, and Carl Graessle.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael W. Penn officiating.

Burial with military honors will be in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Masses or to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
