Thomas Sterling Lynch, 84, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, December 27, 2003, at Beverly Heath Care. Survivors include three sons, Thomas Stanley Lynch, State of California; and John W. Lynch and Adam P. Lynch, both of Jefferson City; four daughters, Martha M. Sapp, Mountain Grove, MO; Mary Jean Cline, Pontiac, MO; Mildred M. Archer, Jefferson City; and Betty June Lynch, Newton, IA; twenty-six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Wayne Pride, Lovell, WY; and a half-sister, Mary Carbridge, Billings, MT. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Thomas Lynch Memorial Fund. Mr. Lynch was employed in uranium mining in Colorado in earlier years, and later as a truck driver with Alcoa International in Powell, Wyoming. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
