Victor Shane Scott, 39, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, September 4, 2005, at St. Marys Health Center. He was born on Sept. 2, 1966 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the son of Victor Terry and Karen Elise Scheidt Scott who survive in Tucson, Arizona. He was married on Aug. 3, 1991 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Mona Annette Markt who survives at the home. He was a 1984 graduate of Marana, Arizona, High School; a 1991 graduate of the University of Missouri; and received the Juris Doctor degree in 1994 from the University of Missouri School of Law. He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1994. Mr. Scott was an attorney-at-law and partner with the law firm of Andereck, Evans, Milne, Peace and Johnson specializing in corporate law with emphasis in electrical cooperatives. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving with the Military Police from 1984 to 1987. He was a member of the American Bar Association; Missouri Bar Association; Cole County Bar Association; and the Western and Eastern Courts of Missouri. Other survivors include one son, Victor Jonathan Cole Scott, at home; one brother and sister-in-law, John Shannon and Karie Scott, Marana, Ariz.; one sister and brother-in-law, Gena Renee and Dennis Wilson, Mesa, Ariz,; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Merrilee Markt, Oregon, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg White officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7th, at the funeral home.
