Violet Loueva Steenbergen, 85, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Miller County Care Center in Tuscumbia, Missouri.
She was born September 20, 1939, in Barnett, Missouri, the daughter of Gene and Geneva (Taylor) Davenport.
She was united in marriage on March 25, 1960, at the Assembly of God Church in Eldon, to Loren Dale Steenbergen who preceded her in death on June 6, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Verbal Kays.

We will never forget how Violet and Dale welcomed us into their home without having ever met them before, insisting we not stay in a motel when our children were married. We remained good friends. Now Violet gets to join her wonderful husband again ❤️ 💙

You were only 11 months younger than me, we seemed almost like twins. Hardly a week ever went by that we didn’t talk on the phone and a memory of something would come up and we would have a good laugh before we hung up. You accomplished so much in your life time. Everything done to perfection. Heaven awaits your entry.
Thoughts and prayers to all of Violet’s family. May God bless all of you as you continue with wonderful memories.
