She was born in Jefferson City to Clifford George and Margaret Mary Nacy Scruggs. She was married on June 9, 1941 in Jefferson City to Dr. Larry B. Klebba who died on May 16, 1990. Survivors include three sons, James M. Klebba, New Orleans, Louisiana; John M. Klebba, Golden, Colorado; and Paul T. Klebba, Frisco, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral; St. Joseph Women's Association; Our Lady of Guadeloupe; Cole County Medical Society Auxiliary; St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary; and was an active community volunteer throughout her life. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Cathedral Foundation, 2301 W. Main Street, Jefferson City, MO 65109; or Alzheimer's Assoication, 1121 Business Loop 70 East, Columbia, MO 65201. She was a graduate of St. Peter High School; attended Mount St. Scholastica College, Atchison, Kansas; received the Bachelor of Arts degree from Fontbonne College, St. Louis; and did continuing education work at Lincoln University. During World War II she was employed in the family business at Scruggs-Guhleman Lumber Company, and in later years was an elementary teacher at St. Martin Catholic School after her family was raised.
